Warhammer Quest

Events
Warrior Priest

Peter Haresnape

The Warrior Priest tends to cut a curious figure as he strides about town, his ring, warhammer and Holy Book proclaiming the purity of his mission. Many react differently to the Priest than they would to another Warrior. Some harbour secret hate for the Church of Sigmar, while others owe their lives to it. This means that there is always a chance that he might get in situations that others would not.

What follows is a list of Events from the roleplay book that are resolved differently for the Warrior Priest. After that is a table that the Warrior Priest can roll on if the Roleplay book claims that he has an Uneventful Day. The Warrior Priest has little time to waste in his quest to spread Sigmar's word!

Event No.

Difference

21

The Priest must make a Willpower test, at difficulty 7. If he succeeds, the trader will not argue with a representative of the Church of Sigmar, and offers a 100 gold 'donation' to avoid trouble. Otherwise, resolve as normal.

24

The Warrior Priest will not be interested in having his fortune told- he has faith only in Sigmar. Roll a different even for this day.

26

Make an Initiative test (difficulty 7). If he succeeds, the Priest explains that his holy mission prevents marriage, thanks all the same, and offers to conduct the ceremony when they find the right husband…

31

While the Priest is preaching outside a tavern, a drunken lout attempts to attack him. Roll 1D6

1-3     The Priest takes a knife in the ribs before he can subdue the man, and though his healing ring seals the wound, he is at -1 Toughness for the next adventure.
4-6 The man is deterred with a hefty wallop on the head, and the Priest goes on preaching as if nothing happens.

41

The Priest may decide not to gamble if he pleases, as he has more self-control than some other warriors do.

54

The Priest must give a total of 2D6+2 x 10 gold away, as charity is an important virtue in the Church of Sigmar.

61

The Priest attracts a crowd to his wise words, and is offered a donation of 1D6x50 gold.

64

The Priest counts results 4-5 as a roll of 6, as he is accustomed to dealing with mobs, and speaking in Sigmar's name.

The following table replaces that found in the rulebook.

Roll 1D6

Event
