Events- Pit Fighter

Peter Haresnape

The Pit Fighter is not renowned for his clarity of thought, nor his purity of purpose. As a Warrior, it is easy for him to make enemies, in addition to the ones he made during his pit career. This means that there is always a chance that he might get in situations that others would not.
What follows is a list of Events from the roleplay book that are resolved differently for the Pit Fighter. After that is a table that the Pit Fighter can roll on if the Roleplay book claims that he has an Uneventful Day. It is a strange truth that the Pit Fighter seldom finds himself with time to spare.

Event No.    Difference
21 This is exactly the sort of thing that Pit Fighters excel at. He gains +1 on his roll.
55 The Pit Fighter must roll 1D6. On a score of 1-2 resolve the event as normal. On a 3+, it seems that the debt collector has been sent from the Pit Fighter's old master. If he has repaid his debt, the man will sell back any one item taken by the master as payment in the past. If he still has an outstanding payment, the Pit Fighter must pay 1D6x100 gold (or more), up to the total of the debt.

Roll 1D6    Event
1 Roll on the normal Uneventful Day Table in the Rulebook.
2 The Pit Fighter finds himself in a battle with an old rival. Generate a Barbarian of the same level, and roll once on the Magic Weapons and Armour Table. If the Pit Fighter wins he may take his opponent's weapon. If he loses, the enemy takes one of his weapons.
3 Roll on the normal Uneventful Day Table in the Rulebook.
4 The Pit Fighter is summoned into the presence of a local gangster, who offers him handsome wages if he will train a new, upcoming Pit Fighter. This training takes 1D6 days, and the Pit Fighter is paid gold equal to his Battle Level x10 each day. He need not roll for events during this period, but cannot visit any traders etc. If he desires, the gangster can order that his debt be reduced by 1D6x20 for each day he works, instead of paying normal wages.
5-6 It really is an Uneventful Day!
