2 NEW TREASURES

Scroll of CELESTIAL SHOWER

The warriors are drenched by a refreshing downpour of rain; each droplet glowing slightly before vanishing. Another downpour befalls the monsters, but this time the water begins to congeal around their bodies.

The shower heals each warrior on the board. They gain "1D3 wounds +battle level +1" (up to their starting value). Roll for each warrior separately. e.g. if a 3 is rolled, and if he is at battle level 3, he gains 7 wounds.

Then, every monster type on the board, (e.g. goblins, minotaurs, etc), must make a roll on the following table with 1D6:

1-2 Each monster of this type has their movement reduced by half for the next turn, (round down). E.g. a move of 5 = a reduced movement of 2.
3-4 Each monster of this type suffers -1 on all of their "to-hit" rolls for the remainder of the combat. (The wizard may expend 3 power points to increase this roll to a 5-6 below)
5-6 Each monster of this type is at -1 on all to hit rolls for the remainder of the combat & in addition, may not benefit from any armour unless it is magical.

Amethyst Necklace of DESIRE

This necklace was fabricated by "NikNak GreedRobber" of the "Sunken Caves" near the "Northern Wastes of Snydor". The power stored in the Amethyst reaches deep into the souls of every creature, and reveals their true desire for riches...

As soon as your warrior receives this necklace he puts it on. Then roll 1D6 on the following table, adding your battle level to the roll:

1-3 Your warrior momentarily loses control over his composure and immediately lashes out at all adjacent warriors as he tries to snatch their treasure. Each adjacent warrior loses 1D3 wounds with no modifiers for anything. Your warrior then realizes what he has just done and promptly apologizes, stating that he would never react like that again. (His companions cast him a quick glance of distrust before continuing deeper into the dungeon).
4-6 Powerful feelings of desire flood your warrior's mind, urging him to acquire more items of treasure. He refrains from attacking his fellow companions, and is now invigorated by the thought of obtaining wonderful treasures from each wave of monsters that dare try to attack the warriors. He is now permanently at +1 to hit against all monsters having a "Treasure Hoard" value.

Additionally, the warrior may use the necklace Once per Adventure to make all monsters of the same "type" inflict 1 unmodified wound for each adjacent monster of the same type, as they squabble with each other, trying to decide who can have the warriors gold & treasure once they are dead.

E.g. if there 3 goblins in a row, the first and last goblin both will lose 1 wound, while the unlucky goblin in the middle will get whacked from both sides and therefore lose 2 wounds. When used at the right time, the damage can be stunning!

PERMANENT

GOLD: 10
The desire brought to your warrior by this necklace is so great, that your warrior would only sell the cord that holds the Amethyst!
