Lord Duregar

Born among the upper class the Dwarf Noble Adventurer had little contact with the lower tunnels and average life of many Dwarfs. His life was filled with riches and the belief that one day he would ascend the family throne and spend his days tending to the family affairs and counting money. But the Noble Adventurer did not want this life, and so one day took a fair share of his families wealth and headed out alone. He wanted a life of adventure and glory, he wanted to live his life on the edge. Using the bulk of his stolen fortune to train under some of the worlds greatest fighters the Dwarf Noble Adventurer seeks to use this training to enter the dungeons of the Old World and live life a bit more dangerously...

Special Rules

Professional Training
The Noble Adventurer has traveled the realms training with the greatest of swordfighters and pistoliers. Because of this specialized training he gains a +1 to hit when firing his Pistol and the Saber Parry skill below.

Saber Parry
When attacked by monsters armed with some type of held weapon (sword, axe, club, ect) the Noble Adventurer may attempt to parry the blow (only if he has his saber at the ready) by rolling UNDER his initiative. If successful the Noble Adventurer automatically avoids the blow, knocking it aside with his saber or simply getting out of the way. A Noble Adventurer may only make one parry per monster phase.

Lightning Reloader
The Noble Adventurer has become very skilled at reloading his pistol. If the Noble Adventurer rolls below his initiative on a D6 he may reload and fire in the same round. If the roll fails it takes the normal entire turn to reload.

Point Blank Shot
If the Noble Adventurer has a loaded Pistol he may shoot it at point black range. This means even though he is pinned he may fire a loaded gun. The shot is made at +2 to hit and does normal damage. However if the Noble Adventurer rolls a 1 to hit the gun is knocked away by the monster and cannot be recovered until the fighting is over.
